Welcome back to Frank & Sense!

This week, I was delighted to meet with two of the chair people of the "Tortured Poets Department," Becca Ballinger and Rebecca Wahls. We discuss all things Taylor Swift, analyze the new album, and put all of the Taylor albums into tiers in a game I'm calling "Tier-layor Swift."

But before that...

Frank & Sense is independently published and entirely supported by people like you. That means that your opinion matters to me! Could you spare a moment to share your thoughts via our audience feedback survey?

It takes only a few minutes and everyone who fills out the survey will be entered into a drawing to win $25! As of right now, only my mom and Matt Sparacino have submitted responses, which means that they have pretty good odds to win that $25. Enter now for your chance to win!

The deadline is Friday, May 24 - which is also my birthday, and that means that this can count as your birthday present to me.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I look forward to hearing from you! And now, on to the main event!

Hoops Crew Corner

We're #2! We're #2! Matt and Frank are here this week to talk all things NBA playoffs, draft lottery, and of course, our opinions on Bill Simmons and the movie Heat. We also discuss the history of the word "fine", the doubters of Jokic and the Nuggets, and Josh Hart's hilarious interaction with Reggie Miller. All of that, plus Matt's classic chicken soup recipe!*

*Please note that Matt does not have a classic chicken soup recipe.

Stuff We Talked About:

  • Fuck You Reggie - This is the funniest moment of the playoffs. The Knicks crowd chants "fuck you Reggie" to Reggie Miller, and then Josh Hart comes to the announcers table to make sure he gets the message.
  • No disrespect to you but... - Shaq tells Jokic that he doesn't think he should have won MVP. Note to Shaq: Any time you have to start a sentence with "no disrespect but"...maybe you shouldn't say anything at all.
  • The most adorable NBA player - Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers is a baller on the court and a dork at home. This video shows off his incredible LEGO collection. We stan this LEGO legend!

And that's all the news that's Frank to print. Happy May, have a great weekend, and we'll see you again next week!

Frankly yours,

Frank

PS. Don't forget to fill out the survey - and thank you in advance!
